I have been registered at St.
Julie's for about 8 years.
My first ministry service was as an interviewer in
preparation for
the Parish Synod. I then served on the synod,
and was chosen
for the Pastoral Council.
My husband, Duane Overby, serves in the Food Pantry
ministry.
I was born and raised in Chicago.
I attended Catholic elementary and high schools.
I was
educated in psychiatric nursing at
Saint Teresa's College in Winona, Minnesota
and Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
Most of my career was spend in the Midwest.
I am presently a psychiatric nurse with Kaiser Permanente.
I have nine stepchildren and my extended family includes
a
Vietnamese family of six and a Japanese international
student.
Duane and I travel when possible and I get the quiet I need
by walking daily.
I accepted the call to the Pastoral Council because
I really like the energy and inspiration I feel at St. Julie's.
My faith is nourished in this community
and
I want to be a part of our
continued growth in Christ.
