First Reconciliation for Children

At St Julie’s, we ask that your child experience two years of religious education through our parish Faith Formation Program prior to celebrating their First Reconciliation. Then there is an additional preparation class specific to this sacrament which occurs during your child’s second year of religious education. This is a family preparation class which culminates with the celebration of your child’s First Reconciliation during a special Children’s Reconciliation Prayer Service, offered once in the winter and once in the spring.

Preparation for First Reconciliation is required as part of preparation for First Eucharist.  See additional information on RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) and Children’s Faith Formation.
