Layette Program

St. Julie's Layette program collects donations of baby clothes and cash to support the Layette Program of the Diocese of San Jose. The Layette Program partners with over 30 parishes and Catholic organizations along with the Santa Clara Public Health Nurses to distribute nearly 500 layettes every year to families in need. St. Julie's Layette Drive occurs every year during October and November, but donations are welcome at any time of the year. The program requests only NEW clothes in NEWBORN SIZES (sizes 0 to 6 months).  Handmade or store-bought items are acceptable, but the items should be new, not used.  This is a great opportunity for quilters, knitters, crocheters, and sewers to share their gifts with others!

Many thanks to all who have donated for your support and assistance in this essential ministry which does so much to support the cause of life by providing practical aid to needy mothers and their infants.
